Generally, you should not have to start or stop LSF, unless you come across issues where a flow has completed but the state still says running, or you have made configuration changes.
Starting and stopping the LSF services is very simple, but you can have a number of issues depending on how your site is set up. Lets cover the basics first, and then I will touch on some of the gotchas.

Gotchas and tips
- The lsadmin and badmin commands may not be in your system path. You can find them here: /SASSoftware/ThirdParty/Platform/lsf/9.1/linux2.6-glibc2.3-x86_64/bin or similar depending on your platform, version etc.
- You may have to initialise your profile if you get errors running the above commands. You can find it here: /SASSoftware/ThirdParty/Platform/lsf/conf/profile.lsf or similar depending on your platform, version etc.
- You may have LSF running on multiple servers including the Metadata server.
